Great new app that is in beta today exposes some underlying features baked into Windows 7.

Connectify can share your internet as a hotspot even if your connected to a hotspot yourself. This can be very useful if your at a café where the login only restricts one login per user and you want your mobile devices to also be connected. It is also great for PC’s or Laptops who have wireless buit-in but is connected through limited means, they can all perform as wireless hotspots to share your internet connection. Connectify is available as a beta today. Try it out.

When Facebook introduced its chat feature, it made it a lot more convenient to chat away to your friends with out opening an extra client, but chatting inside a webpage isn’t always ideal.

In my search for a desktop client I found this great app called Digsby. It has Facebook, MSN(Windows Live), Yahoo, Google Talk and more in an all-in-one interface. It is also very customizable and has some pretty unique features such as being able multitask while you chat and tabbed chat windows.

Digsby is a multiprotocol IM client that lets you chat with all your friends on AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Google Talk, and Jabber with one simple to manage buddy list.

Also it is a social networking tool that alerts you of events like new messages and gives you a live Newsfeed of what your friends are up to.
